Successful students take the time to understand what the assignment is asking them to do.

These students will seek clarification from the teacher before beginning the assignment. On a test this is especially crucial. Students must slow down to fully read and understand each question. Don’t be shy to ask your teacher. Also, if your teacher ever says, “this might be on the test” listen to them. Take note. They know what is on the test.
